I was a UX lead on this project and worked alongside business analysts and insurance SME's to create an end-to-end policy issuance application. Policy issuance in AIG required the underwriters to perform tasks by logging in and out of multiple applications. The goal of the Property Central portal was to centralize this workflow through a seamless user experience.

















UI Design
The design effort was very collaborative. Each meeting and session would help me identify the process flow for policy issuance. I created a design system that would help me create the UI for this project quickly and follow a lean method for producing design deliverables.

I created this process flow map to help understand the different steps, users and systems involved in the process. This is a great deliverable for lean projects that helps identify different phases and steps involved in completing a task. For something as complex as insurance policy issuance, this exercise was really helpful in creating navigation system and interaction model for the application.
It also helped direct focus on the need for data points in individual step of the process, thus, determining the need for features and components of individual screens and steps in the process.
