Hiya!
I'm Swati - In short, my journey so far has been 🇮🇳 → 🇬🇧 → 🇺🇸 → 🇳🇱
I am a UX-UI designer of 8 years with competencies in interaction design, attitudinal and behavioural research to create meaningful, easy-to-use and beautiful user experiences. Currently, I am a Product Design Lead at GeoPhy and contribute to transforming MVPs into full-scale products that require a mix of new concept development and redesign of the existing experiences along with creating a design culture that is transparent, friendly and collaborative.
I am generally an upbeat human with a passion for creating task models and information architecture diagrams and would continue to make sense of the world in that way even if I wasn’t being paid for it.
As for my background, I have a double bachelor's degrees: one in visual communication and the other in digital broadcast. I am currently working as a product design lead at GeoPhy B.V. Prior to this, I have worked as a senior product designer at a New York City startup called Urbint, as a user experience and instructional designer in an ed-tech company called Kaplan and as a product designer at WGSN and AIG.
I started out as a visual designer at Condé Nast. I am an active contributing member at the Hexagon UX community and UXPA.
After hours, I am keeping busy with my own wine tourism startup called Campervino that supports self-contained travel and small wine businesses in France. Alongside this, I am currently working on an incredibly bittersweet DIY renovations project for my home.
